Sarah BSD's Background

Working in the fields of education, leadership, and non-profit management for the last two decades, Sarah’s expertise is grounded in urban K-12 public education, university, urban settings in the United States. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in teaching Social Studies for grades 5-12 from Tufts University, a Masters in Education from Columbia University, as well as a doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership from Columbia University.

Sarah Benis Scheier-Dolberg is a certified facilitator, assessor, and practitioner with 6 Seconds Global Emotional Intelligence Network. Sarah is the author of an SEL curriculum for teens, has received multiple awards as a classroom teacher in Massachusetts for her work in service learning and has been an EQ coach for over 250 teachers and school administrators in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, and New Orleans.
